The Whiskey distillate is based on\u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e MGP’s historic Whiskey parameters \u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003eand \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eproprietary yeast \u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003ethat dates back to \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e1933 \u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003ewhen it was still owned by the \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eSeagram’s\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e. A touch of high malt rye mash was added for sweetness and the finishing flavors of chocolate and apple. It also increased viscosity of the mouth feel. The other two Rye Whiskey batches were hand-picked to bring the adored robust Rye character of mint, spice, and floral botanicals to the table.
