Handmade Wooden Pottery tool

These are handmade wooden pottery tools made by master toolmaker Troy Bungart. Troy used vintage wood we discovered in the collection of Brooke’s father. The wood was ethically salvaged approximately 50 years ago and was recently rediscovered in storage.

The ribs are made of myrtle wood from Oregon. There is a light or dark version. The shape of the rib is my own preferred design.

The wooden knives are made of lignum vitae from the Florida Keys. This beautiful and rare hardwood is wonderful for tools.
